Get started with your MySQL sensor.

Updated over a week ago

This sensor by default runs on port 3306 and uses the protocol. This protocol allows the attacker to login, select databases and select tables/rows. At this time only the information_schema database is enabled. The ability to add your own database is on our road map and will come available soon.

Configure the MySQL sensor

By default the MySQL sensor is enabled and running on port 3306. To fully disable the sensor, click on the dropdown and select no. After clicking the save button it will take a maximum of 5 minutes before the MySQL is disabled on your Bee. As mentioned, the MySQL sensor runs default on port 3306 because thats most commonly the default intance for MySQL database servers. It’s however possible to change the port by specifing the specific port and clicking on the save button.
