If you are using Microsoft Teams in your company, it may be interesting to integrate SecurityHive with Microsoft Teams. This way you will receive notifications in your Microsoft Teams channel when a Honeypot goes online/offline or when new detections occur. This article will guide you with setting up the integration.
Step 1
Open Microsoft Teams and create or go to the channel you would like to receive notifications in. Click the three dots in the upper right corner and select Connectors.
Step 2
Select Incoming Webhook and click Add.
Click Add again.
Step 3
Enter a name to identify the webhook. We suggest to enter SecurityHive.
Click Create to create the webhook. A greyed out box will appear. copy the URL in this box and press Done.
A message to notify you of the creation of the webhook will apear in your Microsoft Teams Channel.
Step 4
Go to the Organization >> Settings page in the SecurityHive Portal. Click Configure in the Microsoft Teams Notification box.
Paste the webhook URL you created earlier at step 3 in Microsoft Teams. Click Save to activate the integration with Microsoft Teams.
Congratulations! You will now receive notifications in your Microsoft Teams channel when a honeypot goes online/offline or when new detections occur.
