Licensing Assets

In order to see the details and vulnerabilities of an Asset, you'll need to assign a license.

Updated over a week ago

When you install an agent or run a network vulnerability scan, assets will pop up in Asset Management. They contain details and possibly vulnerabilities about the devices & systems found in your network/infrastructure.

The number of licenses you can assign is determined by the quantity you've purchased for your Vulnerability Management subscription.

For this article, we assume you're already on the Assets page (Vulnerability Management >> Assets).

How to assign or remove a license

Select the assets you'd like to assign/remove a license to/from. Then, click Manage Licenses.

Click Assign or Remove based on the desired action.

Auto license & review assets

Auto license is enabled by default. When enabled, new assets will automatically get a license assigned according to your subscription's quantity. When disabled, new assets will stay unlicensed till you reviewed them.

These assets will get the "Review" tag assigned and show up in the Assets needing review box. Using the Review assets quick filter, you're able to easily assign a license or ignore them.
