In order to authenticate with the SecurityHive API you'll need a Personal Access Token (PAT). You can create one at your user Profile.
You'll a section called Personal Access Tokens. Click Create Token to create a new PAT.
Give your token a name to identify its purpose and select an expiration value. The expiration determines when this token expires. When expired, you'll have to generate a new token for security reasons.
Select the abilities for your token. Abilities help you to limit the components your custom application/script will have access to.
Click Create Token to retrieve your token. Save this token immediately, because you won't be able to retrieve the token value again.
